web-site architecture

Web site architecture is the part of web design where the pages are drawn out on a story-board to clearly represent the overall relationship between the pages (and content). It is the essential step in understanding how all the pages link together in developing the site.
An example story-board is laid out below for a fictional art gallery's web-site.

The story-board is one of the first things we do with a client in determining what kind of site they will require and which web-site package is the most appropriate. The development of the site architecture is included with any package.
